Our IOHRM family is pleased to have hosted our annual alumni tailgate this last Saturday, September 16th. This year we enjoyed beautiful weather along with hot dogs, burgers, music, and cornhole prior to the Appalachian State vs. East Carolina football match. This was an excellent opportunity for the current IOHRM students to meet and converse with some of our alumni, building their networks and developing some insight into what their futures may look like post-graduation.
This was also a great opportunity for the alumni to catch up with the IOHRM faculty they worked with during their time at the university. Following the tailgate, many of the IOHRM family made their way into Kidd Brewer Stadium to spectate as App State beat ECU 43-28 in a thrilling game. This tailgate was a great success and we are very excited to continue to create engagement for both the growing network of alumni and current students.
