About the App State HR Summit
The Appalachian State HR Summit is a one-day professional development conference that brings together industry's top professionals to discuss the latest topics and challenges within human resources and business. The HR Summit offers an engaging and interactive way to keep up with cutting-edge trends, learn from nationally renowned experts, and earn continuing education credits from both SHRM and HRCI.
The Fall 2025 HR Summit will be an in-person and virtual hybrid event with opportunity for attendees to engage and interact through both modalities. The 2025 Spring HR Summit was also an in-person and virtual hybrid event with 123 attendees (102 in-person and 21 virtual) from 46 different organizations and 21 corporate partners.
Proceeds from the HR Summit support the Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management (IOHRM) master’s program and fund student travel to conferences, applied-project experiences, and resources for program events that enhance the educational experience of the IOHRM graduate students.

Recruit the Next Generation of Talent!
In addition to reaching HR practitioners at the HR Summit, App State’s IOHRM graduate students will also be in attendance. Sponsorship is a great way to recruit summer interns and attract talent from one of the best graduate programs in the country. Student Sponsorship will help offset costs for the program’s graduate students for attending the conference.
