The Walker College of Business offers a unique opportunity for students to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) while simultaneously earning a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management (IOHRM).
As a result of interdisciplinary cooperation between the Walker College of Business and the College of Arts and Sciences, students are offered the possibility of double-counting up to 18 hours of coursework between the programs, making it possible to complete both programs without adding a significant amount of time. This partnership allows students to add business expertise, which complements the wealth of knowledge obtained in the IOHRM program.
Last year, second-year IOHRM students Skylar Ritchie and Sarah Willis joined the MBA program. This year, six first-year IOHRM students followed suit: Hannah Booth, Cameron Brown, Lorin Farr, Stephanie Jeffer, Cheryl Nickel, and Aimee Wood.
These students are all very excited to be participating in the dual-degree opportunity and ready for the semester ahead!
