NCIOP Fall 2018

The IOHRM program was well represented at the North Carolina Industrial-Organizational Psychology (NCIOP) conference. Several students, alumni, and Dr. Timothy Huelsman attended the event, which was hosted at TIAA in Charlotte on October 5th, 2018. The conference included two primary sessions: a talk from Dr. Steven Rogelberg on maximizing the effectiveness of meetings, and a panel discussion on the importance of data analytics in I-O Psychology. As always, NCIOP served as a great learning and networking opportunity. We would like to particularly recognize second-year student Carson Sells for his involvement in planning the conference, as well as his achievement of becoming a member-at-large. We look forward to NCIOP’s next meeting in the spring.
