As the semester flies towards the summer, our first year students are working hard at getting summer internships. We are pleased to announce that two more students have accepted internships, taking them in opposite geographic directions.
Lauren Ferber (top left) will be heading north to the Department of the Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. She will focus on planning, monitoring, and conducting different special studies, projects, and initiatives within Air Force Civilian Career Training. The environment is dynamic and fast paced, so the nature of the projects are diverse and unknown at this point in time. Lauren will be working on routine projects with a team, as well as working with senior personnel in conducting non-routine projects.
Amber Potier (bottom right) will be headed south to Lafayette, Louisiana to intern at Lafayette General Health. This organization comprises seven main facilities that employ over 4,000 individuals. Amber will be participating in a rotating program throughout the functions of the Human Resources Departments. Good luck Amber and Lauren on your internships this summer!
