IOHRM Students Pursue MBA

Students earning a Master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resource Management (IOHRM) are presented with a multitude of opportunities during their time at Appalachian State, one of which is the opportunity to pursue a Master's in Business Administration (MBA).

The partnership between the Walker College of Business and the College of Arts and Sciences has made it possible for students to pursue their IOHRM degree while gaining additional business expertise and executive skills through the MBA program. While earning their dual-degree, students have the opportunity to study abroad and attend a number of events designed to build professional skills with other MBA students while continuing to move forward with their cohort in the IOHRM program.

This year, seven first-year IOHRM students including Hannah Costello, Trevor Fedeson, Annie Jankura, Katie Maness, Kirsten Montanari, Reed Morris, and Troi Robinson-Moss chose to add the MBA program to their schedule. These students will be joining the second-year IOHRM/MBA students: Hannah Booth, Cameron Brown, Lorin Farr, Stephanie Jeffer, Cheryl Nickel, and Aimee Wood.
