IOHRM Students Accept Job Offers Following Internships

In the coming months, we will sing our farewells and bid the Class of 2023 adieu. While there is still some time left before they go out into the working world, a few students have jumped the curve and already have accepted job offers from their internships. We wanted to highlight the achievements of our stellar students and some of their thoughts on the matter.

Amanda Lillie will be working at Trane Technologies as a member of the HR Accelerated Development Program (ADP). amanda_picture.jpegShe will be working in the HR Solutions Center for her first rotation. “I was excited in receiving the offer because I loved working for the company over the summer, but I am a bit nervous now as it is a rotational program. However I am excited because there is so much room to grow in the company.”

Ava Young has been hired as a Staff Member in the People Advisory Services line at EY.  ava_2023.jpg“Receiving a job offer from EY at the conclusion of my internship experience this summer was one of immense excitement and relief. I’m sure the nerves will kick in soon enough but for now I am trying to live in the present and let everything I am learning in class sink in so that I may be the best employee possible when I graduate in May.”

Cori Ferguson will also be working with EY as a People Advisory Consultant. cori_picture.png“After offering us jobs, they sent us to an intern conference at Disney where we learned a lot about what working at EY would be like beyond the work. I felt a bit of imposter syndrome, but my team helped me build my confidence. It’s wild to think that this time next year I’ll be living life as a salaried adult in the city of my dreams.”

We’re so happy for our spectacular students and are excited to hear of the job offers the rest of the cohort will be accepting in the coming months.
