Program director Dr. Tim Huelsman was one of four recent inductees to the Academy of Outstanding Graduate Mentors. As such, he joins a short list of graduate faculty members at Appalachian State recognized for their exemplary mentoring activities. Both Dr. Huelsman and Dr. Shawn Bergman are finalists for the Board of Governor's Excellence in Teaching Award.
A publication by Dr. Timothy Ludwig, Alison Blasingame (c/o 2013), and Stephanie Hale (c/o 2014) was recently accepted into the Journal of Organizational Behavior Management. The article is the result of a semester-long study that focused on improving manufacturing efficiency and production by designing new steps to the work process with an employee focus group.
Dr. Jacqui Bergman is finishing her first semester as Chair of the Management Department in the Walker College of Business.
