Second year IOHRM student, Evea Kaldas, has accepted a job at HD Supply as a Recruiting Coordinator in Atlanta, Georgia, where she interned during the summer of 2015. This Fortune 500 Company is one of the largest industrial distributors in North America, serving nearly 500,000 customers and growing. They provide a wide variety of products and services in maintenance, repair and operations, water infrastructure, and residential and non-residential construction. Their leading businesses include HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, HD Supply Waterworks and HD Supply Construction & Industrial. She will begin her new position on May 23rd
The Recruiting Coordinator position will allow Evea to be involved in supporting the high volume of recruiters in the hiring process, both through ensuring a seamless and positive experience for the candidate, and complying with all laws and operating procedures. She will correspond with recruiters, candidates, and interface with hire process vendors, such as drug and background screening. She will also be apart of special projects, including, targeted staffing initiatives for veteran candidates and college recruiting.
