IOHRM Program Welcomes New Faculty Member

As we are welcoming back our returning second-year students and our new class of first-year IOHRMers, we would also like to give a big welcome to our newest faculty member, Dr. Kemp Ellington! However, a "welcome back" may be more appropriate here as Dr. Ellington is no stranger to Appalachian State University; he spent his undergraduate years as a Mountaineer while he pursued a degree in Psychology.

Dr. Ellington obtained his PhD in I-O Psychology at North Carolina State University before accepting a position at the Illinois Institute of Technology and moving to Chicago. We are lucky to have Dr. Ellington back at ASU where he is currently teaching graduate-level Compensation and Human Resource Management to our undergraduates. This coming Spring, Dr. Ellington will also be teaching graduate-level Training and Development. Dr. Ellington's research interests lie in a variety of areas including, performance management, training and development, and work analysis.

Dr. Ellington, we are happy to have you back!
