Research Interests
Broadly, my research interests include statistics/quantitative methods, person-environment fit, assessment of personality, social networking, organizational recruitment, and vocational choice. More specifically, my current research interests are focused on five projects:
- Investigating how individuals perceive and assess “fit” with other individuals, organizations, and vocations and how objective and subjective measures of “fit” impact individual behavioral and attitudinal outcomes.
- Utilizing various statistical methods to examine team-level constructs such as emergent and shared leadership, conflict, and team effectiveness.
- Exploring factors that influence Millennials usage of social networking sites and why Millennials engage in specific social networking activities.
- Investigating the measurement of narcissism and examining how narcissism relates to performance feedback, team processes, and academic and career expectations.
- Examining the factors that impact individuals’ propensity for Military service and the vocational choice.
